Dr. Lori Cobb
Dr. Lori Cobb is the owner of Pathways to Wellness, an alternative and conventional veterinary medicine practice in Hainesport, NJ. She joined the Mount Laurel Animal Hospital team as an acupuncture veterinarian in 2016.
After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989, Dr. Cobb began her career in sports medicine as an equine veterinarian. A decade later, she became interested in alternative medicine when she witnessed Chinese herbs cure a soon-to-be-euthanized horse that had failed to respond to months of conventional care at the University of Pennsylvania.
In 2001, Dr. Cobb completed the IVAS Certification Course in Veterinary Acupuncture and began treating small animals and horses. Since then, she has taken many alternative medicine courses and enjoyed the mentorship of Gloria Weintrub, VMD '68, CVA, CVHC, CVTP, CVFT. In 2008, Drs. Cobb and Weintrub began practicing together at Pathways to Wellness. Here they offer Chiropractic, acupuncture, Chinese herbs and other alternative and conventional modalities.
Dr. Cobb has provided years of spay and neuter service at various animal shelters. In 2005, she established Ace of Spays with the goal of optimizing care in a clinic setting.
Dr. Cobb is a member of the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture, International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, American Veterinary Medical Association and New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association. In her free time, you will find her walking the beach with her three rescue dogs, Holly, Bella and Loosey.
